How Seven Seeded saved over £50,000 with REKKI Connect

The Challenge
As with many suppliers, order processing has been a constant headache for Seven Seeded in recent years. The problems they were facing are widespread across the industry:
Too many ordering platforms. Seven Seeded were having to deal with hundreds of daily orders coming in a huge variety of formats - via WhatsApp, voicemail, email, as well as all the different ordering systems (e.g. MarketMan, Procure Wizard, BirchStreet).
Order processors at full capacity. Manual order processing is extremely time consuming, leaving little to no room for business growth without taking on more staff.
Error prone manual processes. Processing orders can be a tedious and repetitive process, and it’s often prone to errors – especially when orders arrive in non-standardised formats and from outdated versions of the catalogue.
The Solution
In August 2023, Seven Seeded began using REKKI Connect, REKKI’s new AI-powered tool to process their orders.
REKKI Connect uses AI technology to read, match and process orders automatically. It can read any type of order - whether it has been placed via email, voicemail, or sent through an online platform - extract the relevant data and process it without any need for manual data entry or human intervention.
For Seven Seeded the results have been remarkable. In the last six months, they have been able to grow their customer base by 30% – largely due to the time savings created by Connect. Without needing to take on any more staff to help cope with the increased volume of orders.
As of March 2024, Connect processes 1,000 orders per week for Seven Seeded - which is almost exactly half of all the orders they receive. This saves them on average 112 hours each week in order processing time. The AI system has been trained to process orders from 13 different platforms, including MarketMan, Choco, Procure Wizard, BirchStreet and Comtrex.

Connect has also had a significant impact on the amount of mistakes Seven Seeded make. The beauty of an AI-based system is that it is constantly learning and improving, and never makes the same mistake twice. It also cuts out any manual errors such as mismatched products, misread dates and typos. For orders processed by Connect, the error rate is now less than 0.1%.

David now trusts Connect to process orders with zero manual involvement. The order processors no longer need to check – “now anything that's got a 100% match just goes straight through, no one even looks at it.”
The Results
After using REKKI Connect for 6 months, Seven Seeded have started to see some seriously impressive numbers:
