Since the 1700's the Haward family have been cultivating oysters in and around the creeks of Mersea Island, Essex. We are a small business producing what we believe to be a remarkable oyster.

Starting as a market stall in Battersea, selling the best of the catch from the South Coast, we moved into providing line-caught species to chefs. We care about where our produce comes from, how it is sourced, and what that means to the environment.


We supply shellfish including Portland crab, Portland Lobster, live langoustine, king scallops, dressed crab, potted crab, razor clams, palourdes and cockles to the finest restaurants in Great Britain.

Fish wholesaler based at the eastern end of Shoreham Harbour. We supply the catering & hospitality industry using our fleet of refrigerated vehicles. Landed fresh from the boat, we grade, prep & deliver the fish ourselves.
